Atlas Energy is supported by established companies including HVEX, Brasformer and Transformadores Ideal, bringing together experience in electrical equipment, transformer manufacturing, high-voltage testing and monitoring. This industrial foundation helps us connect North American customers with coordinated equipment and engineering solutions.
Atlas Energy exists because specifying power system equipment and specifying the tests that prove it are the same job, and almost nobody sells them that way. Buyers end up coordinating one vendor for the transformer, another for the instrument transformers and a third for the test set that has to qualify both.
The problem we exist to solve.
Every extra vendor is another qualification process, another insurance certificate to track, and another complex schedule that can slip. When you buy critical power equipment in pieces, you become the project manager and the technical integrator by default.
We solve the referee problem. When the instrument transformer burden or the relay class does not match the application, there is no finger-pointing loop between three factories. We take accountability for the package working as a single, qualified system.
Engineering-led, not catalog-led.
Our process starts with the application and the standard, not with a part number. We don't try to fit your technical requirements into an existing inventory; we review your protection and control scope to ensure the equipment specified is what the system actually needs.
We are willing to tell buyers when a cheaper item is the correct one for their application. Credibility in high-voltage engineering is built on technical accuracy, not on maximizing the margin of a single transaction.
How we qualify what we sell.
Nothing enters the Atlas Energy catalog without type test evidence that has been read and verified by our senior engineers. We look beyond the certificate to the actual waveforms and data that prove performance under stress.
We provide routine test coverage that can be clearly explained and a documentation package that a buyer can audit with confidence. If you need to know exactly how a transformer was qualified before it left the floor, the data is available and ready for review.
How we work with buyers.
We perform a full specification review before any quotation is issued. This ensures that every line item is technically compliant with your utility or industrial standards from the very beginning of the procurement cycle.
Working with us means one accountable schedule and witness testing where it matters most. You speak with engineers who answer the phone after delivery, providing the technical support needed during installation and commissioning.
What we will not do.
We will not quote an accuracy class or rating that cannot be backed by hard evidence. If the requested performance exceeds the capability of the equipment, we will tell you before the purchase order is signed.
We will not let a known burden mismatch ship, and we will never sell a test system that cannot drive the specific object it is meant to qualify. Technical integrity is the baseline for everything we supply.
