What to include so it can be quoted fast.
Ensure your inquiry includes:
• voltage class and system voltage
• the governing standard, ANSI or IEEE or IEC
• delivery target date
• any witness testing requirement
• ratings such as power, current, ratio, burden and accuracy class
• quantity
• site conditions including altitude, ambient temperature, pollution level and indoor or outdoor
What happens next.
An application engineer reads your enquiry and reviews the technical requirements. We don't use automated triage for technical specifications.
We will come back with clarifying questions where the specification is ambiguous, then issue a comprehensive scope with the full test plan attached for your approval.
