Contact Resistance Testers — 100 A

Download HVEX 100 A Contact Resistance Tester datasheet (English, PDF)

Request a Quote50 A and 100 A contact-resistance testing for electrical connections. Atlas Energy supplies the HVEX 100 A micro-ohmmeter for measuring low resistance in circuit breaker contacts, disconnect switches, reclosers, busbars, and other conductive connections. Measurements support commissioning and maintenance by helping identify loose, contaminated, corroded, or deteriorated contacts that can contribute to heating and energy loss.

Four-wire measurement

The tester applies a controlled current and measures the resulting voltage drop to calculate contact resistance. A four-wire connection separates current injection from voltage sensing, minimizing the effect of test-lead resistance on the result. The measured resistance is calculated and displayed automatically.
