Isolation Transformers & Autotransformers
Dry-type isolation transformers and autotransformers for low-voltage industrial power adaptation. These constructions serve different electrical requirements and must be selected accordingly.
Isolation transformers
Single-phase and three-phase designs provide separate primary and secondary circuits. The referenced range covers standard capacities from 3 to 500 kVA for sheltered installation, with optional protective enclosures and circuit breakers. Published technical data specify class F insulation (155°C), 100°C temperature rise, 1.1 kV insulation voltage class and a 3 kVrms applied-voltage test. Manufacturing references include NBR 5356 and IEC 60076-11.
Autotransformers
Single-phase and three-phase autotransformers share an electrically connected winding arrangement and do not provide galvanic isolation. The referenced standard range covers 3 to 1,000 kVA for indoor voltage adaptation, with optional enclosures and fuses or circuit breakers. Published references include NBR 5356, IEC 60076 and IEC 61558-2-13, with class F insulation.
Provide required capacity, phases, primary and secondary voltages, frequency, isolation requirements, enclosure protection, protective devices and site conditions when requesting a quotation. Final ratings, dimensions and connection details depend on the selected design.
