Low-Power Current Transformers (LPCT / eCT)
Electronic current measurement for metering and protection, with high linearity in a compact design.
Developed by HVEX and manufactured in Brazil by Brasformer, these low-power current transformers provide current transduction for modern electrical systems. The design addresses saturation and resonance limitations while supporting reliable measurement over a wide operating range.
Lightweight and compact, they fit electrical panels, switchgear and electronic relays. Different accuracy classes and secondary-output configurations support metering, overcurrent and differential-protection applications, including ANSI 50, 51 and 87 functions.
Why it matters
High linearity for metering and protection.
Compact construction for panels and switchgear cubicles.
Intrinsic secondary protection.
Brazilian development and manufacturing by HVEX and Brasformer.
