Split-Core Current Transformers
A split magnetic core for practical current measurement on existing conductors.
The HVEX Split-Core Current Transformer opens around an existing cable or busbar, avoiding the need to disconnect the conductor for installation. Its compact design supports retrofit metering, monitoring and overcurrent-protection applications in electrical panels and industrial distribution systems.
This is a split-core current transformer, a separate product from the flexible, air-core Rogowski coil. Select the output version and rated burden to match the receiving instrument.
Why it matters
Easy integration into existing electrical circuits.
Compact construction for installations with limited access.
Suitable for distributed current measurement and energy-efficiency monitoring.
Robust design for industrial monitoring and automation.
